Content Library

Within the content library you can manage generic written text, images and videos which can be used for any documentation for your customers as well as for your content templates*. You can learn more about managing content templates in the Content Templates article.

How to manage your content library

  1. Log into Kaptio Travel and select Kaptio Travel Settings from the drop down menu in the top right hand corner of your screen.
  2. Click the + sign on the right hand side of the tabs at the top of your screen and the all tabs screen will appear. You can find further details regarding the all tabs screen in the Getting Started article.
  3. Click Content Library and the content library overview screen will appear:

How to create general text content

  1. Within the content library overview screen click New Content and the following popup will appear:

  2. For general text, select General (for example, for country specific information or your business terms & conditions).
  3. Click Create and the following screen will appear:

  4. Enter a Content Name.
  5. Enter a short description for the content which is for internal use and will not appear on any output to clients.
  6. Under Tags enter a tag name. Tags are used to filter content within the content library.
  7. You can edit this text further by clicking Content Editor and following the instructions in the Content Templates article.
  8. Once you have entered all relevant details click Save and you will be taken back to the content library overview screen.

How to edit general text content

  1. Within the content library overview screen select a tag from the drop down menu in the top left hand corner of your screen and click Apply Filter.
  2. Click Edit next to the content you wish to edit.
  3. Follow the instructions for creating new content.
  4. Once you have edited all relevant details click Save and you will be taken back to the content library overview screen.

You can also create more flexible text to be used for the KT Agenda* feature within your content templates. Under agenda content you can include images and geolocations and you can find the details on how to use KT Agenda in the Content Templates article.

How to create agenda content

  1. Within the content library overview screen click New Content and the following popup will appear:

  2. For very flexible text select Agenda Content (for example, for descriptions related to excursions and activities). 
  3. Then click Create and the following screen will appear:

  4. Enter a Content Name. The agenda content name is for internal use and will not appear on any output to clients.
  5. Enter a Title, which will show on the output to your clients.
  6. Enter a Subtitle if relevant.
  7. Under Tags enter a tag name. Tags are used to filter content within the content library.
  8. Under Featured Image you can either select an image from existing images, or upload a new image by clicking Image Library and then following the instructions in the Item Media article under Items.
  9. Under Location you can add a geographic location for this agenda content by following the instructions in the Item Geolocation article under Items.
  10. Under Content enter the text you wish to appear on the output to your clients.
  11. Once you have entered all relevant details click Save.

How to edit agenda content

  1. Within the content library overview screen select a tag from the drop down menu in the top left hand corner of your screen and click Apply Filter.
  2. Click Edit next to the content you wish to edit.
  3. Follow the instructions for creating new agenda content.
  4. Once you have edited all relevant details click Save and you will be taken back to the content library overview screen.

Image Library

To upload and manage images in your content library click Image Library and follow the instructions in the Item Media article under Items.

NOTE: It is advisable to use high resolution images with a very minimum resolution of 800 x 600. Kaptio Travel cache all images which means that even for very high resolution images the loading time is extremely fast.  Images need to be saved on your PC or image library before uploading them to an Item.

Video Library

To upload and manage videos in your content library click Video Library and follow the instructions in the Item Media article under Items.
