Publishing Itinerary Content

How to publish Itinerary content

  1. Log into Kaptio Travel and select Kaptio Travel Sales from the drop down menu in the top right hand corner of your screen.
  2. Click the Itineraries tab at the top of your screen.
  3. From the list of itineraries select the relevant itinerary you wish to edit and the itinerary specific overview screen will appear:
  4. Click Content on the left hand side of your screen. If you have already created content, you can find this in the list view. Click Customer Preview next to the relevant content and go straight to point seven.
  5. To create news content, follow the instructions in the Creating Itinerary Content article.
  6. Once you have entered all relevant details and clicked Save, the Itinerary content preview will appear as follows:Itin content publish 1
  7. Click Send and Publish and confirm in the following popup that you are sure that you want to publish and send this content. By confirming this, the content will be locked for further editing.
  8. Once you have clicked OK, the email composer screen will appear:Itin content publish 2
  9. Under Related To, the default is set as the current Itinerary. This field is for internal use only.
  10. In the From field the current user’s email address will appear by default. You can amend the sender by selecting an alternative email address from the drop down menu.
  11. In the To field the default is the Account allocated to the Itinerary. You can amend the recipient by typing an alternative email address in the To field.
  12. Under Subject, enter the subject title which will be displayed to your customer.
  13. Under Body, the email template text will be displayed and you can edit this as relevant.
  14. You can insert an alternative template by clicking Email Templates.
  15. You can also attach a file by clicking Choose File under Upload File.
  16. Once you have entered all relevant details click Send.
  17. You customer will now receive the Itinerary content email and you can find the details of the email under Activity History on the Itinerary specific overview screen.
